Funeral Pre-Planning Products
|
The United Heritage Funeral Pre-Planning
products are designed for the funding of pre-arranged
funerals. Many of our funeral pre-planning agents are Funeral
Directors, Preneed Specialists or Preneed Counselors, or employees of funeral homes. When planning your funeral, ask about funding your pre-arranged funeral with a United Heritage Preneed Policy. These policies have an increasing death benefit. Therefore, by using a United Heritage "Preneed" funeral funding product you assure there will be enough funds to pay for your funeral in the future; regardless how much funeral prices increase, when you purchase a guaranteed funeral. All United Heritage Preneed policies can be Medicaid exempt, when you are faced with applying for medical assistance. Your preneed policy cannot be taken away.
Plans are available to be paid in full or paid over 3, 5, or 10 years. There are only a few simple health questions to qualify for a full benefit (first day full coverage) and graded benefit plans are available in most states when you are recovering from recent health issues. Pay plans are available in most states to age 90 and single premium plans are available to age 99. There are no health questions when you are applying for a single premium policy to pay your funeral in full. Unlike funeral trusts, there is no need to report the growth of your United Heritage preneed policy on your income tax return. There is a Death Away from Home Rider and in most states, a Pay-Up Option on pay plans that may be utilized in the first 24 months.
For confidence and piece of mind, talk to your funeral director or Pre-need Specialist about United Heritage and a funeral plan designed to pre-plan and pre-fund your funeral the way YOU want! |

**Premiums ordinarily may be paid annually or on a "modal" basis; semi-annually, quarterly or monthly.* The amount of a modal premium is greater than a simple fraction of the annual premium-for example, a quarterly premium is greater than 1/4 of an annual premium. This is because a modal premium includes adjustments for such factors as additional collection costs and the fact that the Company does not receive, and have the use of, the entire premium at the beginning of the policy year.
The difference between the total modal premiums for the year and the annual premium can be expressed in the form of an Annual Percentage Rate (APR). The modal premium APR equates the additional charges for a modal payment to the interest rate on an installment loan.** For example, at the beginning of the policy year, the amount of the "loan" would be the annual premium less the first modal premium.
